One interesting fact about chicken tikka is that it is believed to have originated in the Mughal Empire in the late 17th century. According to legend, the dish was first created by the royal cooks of Emperor Aurangzeb, who were inspired by the Persian method of cooking meat in a tandoor (a traditional clay oven).
The cooks marinated the chicken in a blend of spices, yogurt, and lemon juice, and then skewered the meat and cooked it in a tandoor, resulting in tender and juicy chicken with a smoky flavor. Over time, the dish evolved and spread throughout the Indian subcontinent, becoming a popular street food and restaurant dish.
Today, chicken tikka is enjoyed all over the world and is often served in various forms, such as in curries, wraps, sandwiches, and salads.

Chicken Tikka Cut - 150gm
Mustard Oil - 20ml
Hung Curd - 50gm
Ginger Garlic Paste - 10gm
Red Chilli Paste - 10gm
Salt - to taste
Chaat Masala - 3gm
Garam Masala Powder - 5gm
Turmeric powder - 3ml
Lemon Juice - 10ml
Kasuri Methi Powder - 5gm
Black Pepper powder - 3gm
Bell peppers - 20gm
Butter - 10gm
Capsicum - 40gm
Coriander Leaves - 5gm
a) Marinate Chicken:- ginger garlic paste, mustard oil, red chilli powder, lemon juice.
b) Marinate:- mix hung curd with red chilli paste, and powdered spices.
c) Dice Bellpeppers and marinate with chicken and screw on seekh alternately and cook in tandoor.
d) Finish with some butter chat masala and chopped coriander.
e) Enjoy the dish!
